The leakage of refrigerants contributes to climate change. Refrigerants with a lower global warming potential (GWP) contribute less to global warming in the event of a leak than those with a higher global warming potential (GWP). A leak of 1 kg of this refrigerant would therefore have a greater impact on global warming than 1 kg of CO2, based on a hundred years, according to the GWP value of the refrigerant. Do not work on the refrigerant circuit or disassemble the unit - always consult qualified personel.
